Director, Global Solutions Architects Job Overview:

The Director, Global Solutions Architects (GSA Dir) position is a technical sales leadership role responsible for leading our Global Solutions Architects in both technical and business-critical customer and product team engagements. The GSA teams are tasked with enabling greater productivity among all Solutions Engineers worldwide. They are aligned to a business segment and support our sales and technology teams in achieving the sales goals (quota).

They bring technical capabilities and intuition for business to guide teams on the most effective approach to better enabling the SE community and guiding impactful feedback to internal Product Teams.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with theater-level sales leadership to develop and execute on sales strategy, technology positioning, and execution priorities.
  • Play the role of evangelist, mentor, inspiring leader, and influencer within and outside of F5 in the Solution Engineering community and the Product Group leaders.
  • Empower directs and Solution Engineers to think beyond the routine.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide the team in achieving their goals.
  • Hold yourself and the team to the highest standards of conduct.
  • Hire, onboard, develop, and retain a strong, diverse, and inclusive team that truly represents the F5 culture.

How you’ll do it

  • Identify and Assess technical and soft skill requirements of the global SE team and provide opportunities, resources, and guidance to build and develop their capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain strategic business engagement plans in partnership with internal product, field sales enablement teams, customers, and partners.
  • Efficiently prioritize resources to support business needs
  • Effectively partner with theater sales leaders to identify new Sales strategies and market opportunities
  • Involve and engage with the key product leaders to develop technical sales enablement strategies
  • Participate in vetting new offers via the Product Lifecycle Management process

What you’ll bring?

  • Outstanding presentation skills, articulating sophisticated technological concepts
  • Experience in a role that requires project management and consultative skills, a plus
  • 10-15 years of relevant industry experience
  • Familiarity with the F5 product suite is a big plus
  • BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience

What you’ll get?

  • This role is primarily based out of North America (with the flexibility to work remotely), reporting to the WW VP of Solutions Engineering.
  • While we encourage remote/virtual meetings, the nature of the role could require travel up to 50% of the time and working across time zones when it becomes safe to travel, post current COVID situation.

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $204,480.00 - $306,720.00

The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
