The Services Manager is responsible directly and through managerial relationships, for F5’s Service business in their assigned Region. This includes partnering with the Product Sales organization on structuring the Services component and related pricing for all product deals proposed by F5 and its Channel Partners in the country, to drive growth of F5 installed base within Customer base. Further responsibilities include driving the on-time renewal of maintenance contracts through Channel Partners, with focus on the largest/strategic Renewals ($ value).
The Services Manager is also in direct control of F5 Service Channel management function, with focus on enabling our strategic Channel Partners to build a successful F5 focused services business to our mutual Customers, and thus enabling growth in our product and maintenance business. Besides interfacing with our Sales teams, the Services Manager will also interface with other Services functions in their assigned Region such as Technical Support, Professional Services and Training. He or she is expected to develop and maintain a comprehensive Service strategy across these functions in support of F5 strategic goals in the regions assigned.
In addition to the above duties the Service Manager is expected to participate in and contribute to the development of F5 strategic programs and solutions related to Digital Transformation and overall evolution of F5’s business.

What You’ll Do:
The Primary responsibility of the role is to own and develop the Health and Wealth of F5’s Global Services Business into our Customers, through various routes to market: including both Partner Channel model and direct.
Achieve Annual Financial plans based on growth metrics and in tandem, achieve quarterly targets set.
Provide the link between the various internal F5 Services and Product teams in country to develop and maintain a successful Services strategy to support F5 business in the country.
Own the Discount approvals for F5 Annuity business, including Non-Standard Pricing negotiation and approvals. Primarily this relates to Initial Product and Maintenance Contract Sales but may include Non-Standard Pricing negotiations for Maintenance Contract Renewals as well.
In collaboration with F5 Product Sales teams, help drive initiatives to promote product tech refresh and sales of F5 strategic solutions (Not exhaustively: Enterprise License Agreements, Hybrid Enterprise License Agreements, Enterprise Agreements, Subscription, Cloud, F5aaS)
Own the Services specific relationship with and set strategic direction for F5 Partners in relation to their Services business in alignment to F5 strategic goals
Maintain and grow F5 and Partner “Recurring Revenue” business in assigned Region through best Practice and supporting Partner Success motions as developed, whilst maintaining or growing F5 margins: Initial maintenance, contract renewals and Professional Services).
Manage F5 Global Services Partner Programs for Annuity streams (“Partner Support” and any other applicable Programs)
Where in scope manage F5 Global Services Partner Programs for Professional Services (“Guardian”) and Education (“Authorized Training Centers”). This includes identifying Partner Enablement needs and providing necessary guidance and information to enhance partner capabilities for F5 Services delivery and/or selling/reselling
Collaborate with global program owners and cross-functional team members from other Theatres to develop and deploy new programs in support of F5 Product and/or Services strategy
Collaborate with other region managers on maintaining and updating Maintenance pricing programs offer by F5 to its Partners
Exemplify and advocate the BeF5 values inside and outside of the Company
Lead with inclusiveness and with diversity at forefront of all decisions and take ownership of individual growth and development in conjunction with their Manager.
Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor degree or higher in business management or computer science or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 7 years management experience and/or service business management experience
Have a strong business and financial acumen
Goal orientated with excellent numeracy & communication skills
Ability to develop long-term strategic & executive level relationships
Has the ability to work across international boundaries and cultures
Working knowledge of the IT industry asset maintenance practices
SW or SaaS selling or business management experience is a plus
Experience dealing with Carrier Service Providers in Region is a plus
Experience in Programme development and roll out (to Channel and internally).
Experience across all Customer verticals through various/multiple Route to Market models
Flexibility for travel required.
Intellectual curiosity and excitement around selling Company vision.
Ability to manage target setting, sales process and forecast with precision.
