Supply Chain leader will be responsible for making sure Viome has the right product, at the right time, at the right cost, while also ensuring a seamless customer experience from order through delivery. The role spans supply planning, procurement, inventory, fulfillment, logistics, vendor management, quality issue resolution, and operational readiness for new product launches.

Responsibilities

    1) Own inventory and supply planning

  • Build demand and supply planning processes for all material for Lab Operations and 3rd party product distribution.
  • Manage inventory health across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
  • Reduce stockouts, backorders, excess inventory, and working capital inefficiency
  • 2) Lead procurement and vendor management
  • Own sourcing, supplier relationships, purchasing, and contract/price negotiations
  • Improve supplier performance on cost, lead times, quality, and service
  • Create contingency plans for supply risks, single-source dependencies, and long lead-time item
  • 3) Own fulfillment and operational execution
  • Ensure customers receive orders accurately and on time
  • Improve operational processes that affect speed, reliability, and cost to serve
  • 4) Improve gross margin and cost structure
  • Identify and execute opportunities to reduce COGS, freight, packaging, fulfillment, and operational waste
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial leaders to improve unit economics and margin by product/category
  • Build operational discipline around packaging, component choices, and vendor economics
  • 5) Support product launches and business scaling
  • Ensure new products and offers are operationally ready before launch
  • Partner with Product, Innovation, Ecommerce, and Marketing to support launches without creating operational chaos
  • Build scalable processes that support both DTC growth and future channel expansion
  • 6) Build the operating system
  • Create dashboards, KPIs, and routines for operational performance
  • Establish clear ownership and decision-making across supply chain and fulfillment
  • Build and lead a lean, high-performing team as the business grows
  • What a successful person in this role will deliver

    Within 12–18 months, a successful leader will:

  • Keep Viome in stock on core products without materially overbuying inventory
  • Improve forecast accuracy and inventory discipline
  • Reduce excess / obsolete inventory and working capital tied up in supply
  • Improve on-time fulfillment and reduce operational errors
  • Lower COGS and improve gross margin through better sourcing and operational discipline
  • Reduce customer pain caused by fulfillment, supply, and operational breakdowns
  • Build a more scalable operating model that can support growth.

  • In-stock rate, Inventory turns / weeks of supply, Forecast accuracy
  • Gross margin improvement / COGS savings
  • Fulfillment SLA / on-time ship rate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Operations or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Operations
  • Proven track record of material cost savings and inventory efficiencies.
  • Experience with global material sourcing and distribution
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present Material and Operational performance to senior management.
  • Proficiency in Material management software and systems.
