Quality Technician

We are seeking a Quality/Test technician to join our team in Newark, CA. The successful
candidate will play a significant role in testing components and materials to help us maintain
quality in our electrolyzer cell manufacturing factory. The Quality/Test technician reports into
the Quality organization and collaborates with factory and R&D teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare metallurgical samples, including cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing and etching/
staining.
• Microscopic inspection of of metallurgical samples, including photo documentation, image
analysis and report generation
• Physical measurements of finished and intermediate products using automated coordinate
measuring tools
• Pressure decay and tracer gas leak testing of electrolyzer cells and components
• Resistance measurements and other electrical characterization of cell components
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a STEM field preferred
• Experience with optical microscopy
• Familiarity with metallography preferred
• Proficient with electrical measurements and basic electrical test equipment such as DVMs,
oscilloscopes, power supplies and signal generators
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
