As a STR Engineer in the Production Team, you will play a key role in implementing technological solutions designed by R&D and further developed by the Design team and translating them into a precise, fully coordinated 3D Fabrication Package. You will validate ARC design, integrate solutions across design and construction teams, communicate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative results, and to constantly improve our processes and products.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed, coordinated Revit models integrated with ARC and MEP.
- Develop required documentation (permit sets, shop drawings, construction plans).
- Coordinate building details for factory production and on-site construction.
- Implement schematic design and layout changes following Veev’s standards.
- Validate BIM solutions and manage information transfer between Revit and SolidWorks.
- Develop and maintain project templates, browser structures, and BIM methodologies.
- Provide task progress updates to the team lead and key stakeholders.
- Ensure a smooth, efficient release to fabrication with fully resolved solutions.
- Provide project lifecycle support as needed.
Requirements, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience in structural design and construction.
- Strong knowledge in structural analysis, materials, and construction techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM environments.
- Excellent understanding of structural impact on ARC and MEP.
- Proactive problem-solver.
- Highly detailed, organized, methodical, and technically strong.
- Experienced in creating fabrication and detailed construction drawings.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills for internal/external stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork, proven in multidisciplinary settings.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with SolidWorks modeling techniques and PDM.
- Experience with Cold-Formed Steel frame design.
- Familiarity with US standards for submittals, plans, and calculation packages.
- Experience with digital fabrication techniques and their integration into Revit workflows.
