In this role, you will directly contribute to the efficiency, sustainability, and quality of modern home construction by leading the development of MEP design and building models. Your work will have a tangible impact on Veev’s ability to scale operations and drive industry-wide change.
The Role
The Senior Technical Program Manager – Manufacturing Systems is responsible for leading the strategy, definition, and delivery of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across the organization’s factory operations. This role acts as the bridge between manufacturing stakeholders, engineering, software teams, and external partners to ensure the MES platform enables scalable, efficient, and data-driven production processes.
Responsibilities
- Define the MES/ERP product roadmap and vision, in collaboration with engineering, software development, manufacturing, IT, and operations.
- Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for system development.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Participate in agile processes: grooming, sprint planning, QA, and release.
- Lead system validation, testing, training, and post-launch support.
- Drive adoption of systems and processes through clear documentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor KPIs, optimize workflows, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and data analytics tools to measure performance and impact.
Must-Have Skills and Competencies
- 6+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or business systems analysis.
- Hands-on experience delivering MES/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in agile methodology, Jira, Confluence, and product lifecycle tools.
- Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, APIs, and data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Superset).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to synthesize feedback from users and technical teams into actionable plans.
Nice-to-Have Skills and Competencies
- Experience at a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
- Exposure to prefabrication, modular construction, or high-volume production systems.
- Familiarity with MES platforms (e.g., Ignition, Tulip, Siemens).
- Experience with KPI dashboard development and ETL pipelines.
Compensation
Offers are based on a combination of experience, skills, and location. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $160,000 - $190,000 annually for Hayward, California.
