Veev has developed a vertically integrated approach that involves multi-disciplinary collaboration across real estate, design, development, engineering, manufacturing, and construction.

The Role

Veev is seeking a People Business Partner to support our growing team onsite and during second and third shifts in our Hayward manufacturing facility. This role involves addressing employee concerns, implementing HR initiatives, and providing strategic support to enhance workforce performance and promote a positive company culture. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in OSHA safety regulations, has a professional Spanish proficiency, and is open to flexible work across sites and shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries during second and third shifts.
    • Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Talent Management:
    • Collaborate with managers and Talent Acquisition on recruiting and onboarding of new hires.
    • Assist in performance management processes, including evaluations and development plans.
    • Identify training needs and coordinate with the Learning & Development team on employee development programs.
    • Facilitate workshops and training sessions during second or third shifts.
  • Compliance and Policy Implementation:
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws.
    • Update and communicate HR policies to employees, ensuring understanding and compliance.
    • Prepare HR documentation as needed.
  • Health and Safety:
    • Promote workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
    • Collaborate with EHS teams to address any employee concerns related to health and safety.
  • Change Management:
    • Support organizational change initiatives by communicating changes effectively and addressing employee concerns.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification preferred.
  • Proven HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of safety best practices and OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Rippling HRIS is a plus.
  • Spanish professional competency is a plus.

Compensation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $100,000 - $140,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas.
