Role Overview

Vectra is seeking a Director, Performance Development to lead the design, development, and execution of enterprise-wide performance development strategies that strengthen organizational capability, improve performance consistency, and support company growth objectives.

This role moves beyond program coordination to strategic ownership. The Director will architect scalable onboarding, certification, and performance development frameworks aligned to business priorities, ensuring employees across customer-facing and cross-functional teams are equipped to execute with clarity, confidence, and consistency.

The ideal candidate brings executive presence, structured design thinking, and the ability to influence senior leaders across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Commercial organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic performance development Architecture

  • Own performance development strategy focused on onboarding, product readiness, and role-based capability development
    • Design scalable performance development frameworks for customer-facing and support functions
    • Establish certification standards and competency benchmarks
    • Translate company strategy into structured, measurable learning programs
    • Align performance development initiatives with organizational performance objectives

Global Program Leadership

  • Lead design and delivery of enterprise onboarding journeys (30/60/90)
    • Oversee development of interactive learning modules and structured assessments
    • Drive high-impact global events and performance development programs
    • Partner with functional leaders to embed performance development into operating rhythms
    • Standardize knowledge frameworks and core competencies across regions

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Serve as performance development liaison to Product teams for launch readiness
    • Influence consistency of messaging and knowledge across functions
    • Collaborate with Operations to align performance development metrics with business performance indicators
    • Partner with regional leaders to localize and scale programs globally

Measurement & Organizational Impact

  • Define and track performance development KPIs (time to proficiency, program adoption, capability progression)
    • Develop reporting frameworks to provide executive visibility
    • Establish feedback loops for continuous improvement
    • Ensure performance development investments translate into measurable organizational performance improvements

Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years in performance development, Talent Development, or Organizational Effectiveness, with leadership scope
    • Experience in high-growth SaaS or technology organizations preferred
    • Proven ability to architect scalable global performance development frameworks
    • Strong instructional design foundation (ADDIE, Bloom’s, scenario-based learning)
    • Experience with LMS and learning technology platforms
    • Executive-level facilitation and presentation skills
    • Demonstrated ability to influence senior cross-functional leaders
    • Data-driven mindset with focus on measurable performance outcomes
Our competitive total rewards package includes cash compensation within the range provided below. Actual pay for this position may vary based on the hired candidate’s location, experience and relevant incumbent pay position.
