What You Will Be Doing:
Accounting operations: Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including transaction posting, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance. Responsible for timely MIS closure, including monthly reporting, data validation, and performance analysis. Ensure accurate financial book maintenance in line with Ind AS requirements.
SOP’s implementation: Implement continuous improvements in financial planning processes to adapt to the evolving needs of the business and industry.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, including tax requirements, reporting standards, and regulatory guidelines. Drive adherence to Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) across all accounting and reporting activities.
Cash flow management: Manage cash flow effectively by forecasting future cash needs, monitoring liquidity levels, and implementing cash conservation measures when necessary. Support fund management activities, including preparing cash flow forecasts for fundraising cycles and providing financial inputs for sourcing funds.
Stakeholder management: Collaborate with internal teams and with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to facilitate efficient and accurate audits, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and regulatory standards. Lead audit readiness by maintaining audit-friendly documentation and proactively addressing compliance gaps.
Leadership and training: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance team members, fostering their growth and development within the department.
You Will Thrive in This Role If You:
- Have a CA qualification with 3-4 years of experience.
- Have a Big 4/5 experience for 2 years plus.
- Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Have In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices. Proficiency in Ind AS, audit processes, fund management practices, and supporting fundraising activities.
