We are a profitable, mission-driven fintech company that provides quality financial solutions for people whose needs go unmet by traditional institutions. We serve people with complex needs and those who care for them, and it is an honor to wake up in the morning knowing that we have a profound impact on our customers’ lives.

At True Link, design plays a large, strategic role in the development of our product roadmap and company vision. We’re looking for a remote Senior Product Design contractor for a six-month contract, from August 2025 through February 2026. Hours range from 20-30 hours per week, depending on the needs as they arise. Potential for ad-hoc freelance work after contract.

What You'll Do:

  • Support of feature launches that are underway with existing designs

  • Support for incremental product iterations to increase customer satisfaction

  • End to end design process for net new features on the H2 '25 and H1 '26 roadmap

  • Quick rounds of user research to support feature development, answering open questions about requirements or trade offs

  • Growth hacking to support GTM/PMF experiment workstreams with our Business Operations team

Who You Are:

  • At least 5+ years of senior design experience within fast-growing companies, and agency or freelance experience preferred

  • Interest in this 20-30 hour per week, temporary, contract designer opportunity and availability through February 2026

  • You lead with the user! Design leads many of our research initiatives across True Link - and it all starts with the user

  • Highly collaborative with EPD and other XFN stakeholders

  • Good at managing stakeholder feedback and asking the right questions to understand the ask; open to iteration and good at incorporating feedback

  • Comfortable navigating a large number of user types across several products; knowing the right questions to ask to make sure you understand the user need

  • Able to leverage existing design patterns or take inspiration from industry best practices; we’re not at the stage where we need to reinvent the wheel or go divergent on visuals

  • Great judgment and ability to interpret and apply stakeholder feedback in design

Why You’ll Love Us

  • We’ve got the energy and passion of a startup combined with the professionalism of a financial services firm and the compassion of a mission-driven organization that truly cares about each other and the people we serve.

  • With fifty million Americans in our addressable market, we are catering to tons of people who need our products and services across the country - and we’ve got the potential to reach many more.

  • Our customers are not only grateful for our services but are the absolute best. We have the privilege of providing financial protection for vulnerable members of society and partnering with expert service providers to do so.
