As Traba continues to grow and redefine the future of work, we are looking for an experienced Controller to be a cornerstone of our Finance team. This is not just a role; it's an opportunity to be at the heart of our mission, ensuring financial integrity and paving the way for our next growth phase.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Financial Operations: Spearhead our accounting functions, ensuring the integrity of financial information by managing the general ledger, month-end close, and consolidation processes.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Manage incoming payments, ensuring that invoices are correctly issued, payments are received on time, and any overdue accounts are followed up with promptly.
  • Drive Efficiency and Scalability: Develop and implement strategies that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of our financial operations. This includes streamlining policies, processes, and systems to support our growth.
  • Ensure Financial Compliance: Oversee revenue recognition, tax compliance, and adherence to GAAP standards, ensuring all financial operations align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Strategic Financial Analysis: Provide deep financial insights and analysis to support decision-making, collaborating closely with FP&A to explain financial trends and variances.
  • Project Leadership: Lead special projects that contribute to the development of new accounting capabilities, offering you the chance to expand your skill set and make a significant impact on our financial infrastructure.

What You'll Need:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Qualifications: CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Experience: 4 - 8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with a proven track record in financial reporting and analysis. Experience in a high-growth startup environment is highly valued.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in accounting software (Quickbooks) and MS Excel. Familiarity with SQL/R/Python is a plus.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across various departments.
  • Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for detail coupled with strong organizational and time management skills.
