About the team

The Senior eCommerce Analyst will sit in the Marketing Analytics team which is a distinct part of the broader Data & Analytics department. While belonging to a close-knit central team, each Life360 Analyst partners with one or more business units on a long-term basis: in Product, Device Sales, Locations, Marketing, Engineering or Finance.

Each Analyst has the opportunity to combine their own expertise with our substantial data resources to contribute as a thought leader, establish domain expertise and develop cross-functional partnership to solve business problems for the company.

About the job

We are looking for a Senior eCommerce Analyst to play a critical role in shaping the future of our web ecosystem. As an integral part of the Analytics team, You will work closely across key stakeholder teams: eCommerce DTC, growth marketing, product (web) management, engineering and design, external agencies to help define our eCommerce analytics strategy and implementation. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive analysis of full funnel behavior from top of funnel through point of sale and beyond. Your role requires a strong understanding of web analytics tools such Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, data visualization, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights to drive business growth.

Utilizing your skills in analytics and technical proficiency, you will leverage our Google Analytics tool, web and app events, and backend transactional data to tackle key questions about business strategies and website effectiveness. Your mission includes not only daily analytical tasks but also contributing to strategic decisions that shape our eCommerce direction.

The ideal candidate is motivated by the potential of data to optimize eCommerce ecosystems and drive business growth, adept at translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic narratives. With a strong foundation in data analysis, technical skills, and a keen understanding of the eCommerce landscape, you'll be pivotal in guiding our eCommerce strategy.

The US-based salary range for this position is $108,000 to $159,500. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and Analyze Site Performance: Track key e-commerce metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, cart abandonment, etc.) across DTC and marketing channels.
  • Funnel & Journey Analysis: Analyze and optimize the end-to-end customer journey using LLM/AI-driven solutions, focusing on website traffic, landing pages, conversion funnels, and KPIs to identify drop-offs, trends, and opportunities for improved user flow and conversion rates.
  • Customer Insights: Segment users by behavior, acquisition source, and lifecycle stage to support personalization, retention, and targeting strategies.
  • Site Optimization: Collaborate on A/B testing and CRO initiatives focused on product pages, checkout, upsells, and merchandising tactics.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Build sales forecasts, revenue models, and real-time dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
  • Data Ownership: Stitch backend data from various data platforms and manage the eCommerce data architecture with Data Engineering
  • Channel & Campaign Evaluation: Assess marketing, platform, and promotional performance to improve ROI, CAC, and LTV across web and marketplaces.
  • Strategic Support: Provide actionable insights to guide product launches, promotions, pricing strategies, and omnichannel performance planning.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce analytics across web and/or apps, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights. Experience with agentic AI solutions is a plus
  • Expert proficiency in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, AppsFlye, Google Tag Manager or similar digital analytics platforms.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio), or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with A/B testing and personalization tools (e.g., Ninetailed, HotJar, ContentSquare, Google Optimize, Optimizely, VWO).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
