The Role

As Analyst Relations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how leading industry analysts perceive our strategy, innovation, and market leadership. Reporting to the VP of Global Communications, you’ll drive our analyst engagement strategy—building strong relationships, coordinating key interactions, and ensuring analysts understand and advocate for our vision.
This role is ideal for a communications professional who combines deep understanding of enterprise technology with the ability to translate complex innovations into clear, credible, and compelling narratives for analyst audiences.
What You’ll Do:
Lead analyst relations strategy: Partner with product marketing, product, and leadership teams to develop and execute a proactive AR strategy that supports ThoughtSpot’s positioning and business goals.
Manage key analyst relationships: Build and strengthen relationships with top firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester) and boutique analysts (ISG, Constellation, Nucleus) across AI, analytics, and enterprise SaaS.
Drive analyst engagement: Coordinate briefings, inquiries, and strategy sessions to ensure analysts are up to date on ThoughtSpot’s vision, roadmap, and customer success stories.
Influence analyst evaluations: Manage submissions and presentations for key reports such as Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Waves, IDC Market Guides, and ISG Buyers Guides. ensuring alignment and excellence in messaging.
Provide insights to leadership: Track and analyze analyst feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform go-to-market and product strategies.
Develop materials & messaging: Create compelling analyst-facing content—decks, briefing documents, positioning summaries, and competitive differentiators.
Measure impact: Assess and report on the influence of AR activities on brand perception, market awareness, and inclusion in analyst evaluations
What You Bring:
6–8 years of experience in Analyst Relations, communications, or product marketing within B2B SaaS, analytics, or enterprise technology.
Strong understanding of the analyst landscape, including methodologies, report cycles, and relationship management best practices.
Proven track record influencing analyst opinions and improving company positioning in key reports.
Excellent storytelling skills—able to distill technical or complex product concepts into concise, compelling narratives.
Collaborative mindset: Skilled at partnering across product, marketing, and executive teams to align messaging and priorities.
Exceptional organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
In New York, the estimated annual salary range for this role is $95k – $125k per year.
In California, the estimated annual salary range for this role is $85k - $120k per year.
In Illinois, the estimated annual salary range for this role is $75k - $115k per year.
Actual compensation may vary and will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location of the selected candidate.
