The Role
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support our technical sales efforts across the EMEA region. In this role, you will partner closely with Account Executives and customers to drive business value by demonstrating how our solutions can help achieve strategic data and analytics goals.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling or supporting technical solutions to enterprise customers, ideally within the Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Analytics space. You should have a strong understanding of how technology can solve business challenges, take a consultative approach to customer engagement, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Understand customers’ analytic goals and challenges through effective discovery conversations

  • Confidently present and articulate the business value of our platform to both technical and business stakeholders

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that clearly differentiate our solution

  • Guide customers through product evaluations, helping them analyse and interpret their own data

  • Collaborate with sales to develop and execute account strategies

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with customer champions and Account Executives to ensure shared success

  • Capture and communicate customer requirements to product and engineering teams

  • Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards

  • Continually learn, share knowledge, and contribute to team development

  • Be self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive in driving outcomes

  • Travel as needed within the EMEA region


What You Bring:

  • Demonstrated success in a customer-facing technical or pre-sales role

  • Proficiency in SQL (intermediate or higher)

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript or Python preferred

  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices

  • Hands-on experience with modern database technologies such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Synapse, SQL Server, or Oracle

  • Familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Looker, or similar

  • Ability to understand customer needs and deliver timely, tailored solutions

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills for both technical and business audiences

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and benefits

  • Self-directed with strong initiative, curiosity, and problem-solving skills

  • Highly coachable and eager to learn and grow
