Enterprise Account Executive - Germany
ThoughtSpot
What’s the Role?
We’re looking for a high-performing Enterprise Account Executive to join our team in Germany. In this strategic role, you’ll be responsible for driving new business and expanding relationships within large enterprise organisations across the DACH region, with a primary focus on Germany. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, navigating complex deal cycles and positioning our cutting-edge platform as a mission-critical solution.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding quotas in enterprise software sales—ideally within Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data platforms—and excels at building lasting executive relationships. If you’re commercially minded, customer-obsessed, and excited by the challenge of large, multi-threaded enterprise deals, we’d love to connect.
What You’ll Do:
Own the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts—from initial engagement to close
Develop deep, strategic relationships across multiple business units and executive stakeholders within target accounts
Create and execute territory plans focused on high-value accounts across the DACH region
Deliver customised presentations and product demos to both technical and non-technical decision-makers
Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure a consistent and value-driven customer journey
Accurately maintain pipeline, forecasting, and activity data in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Provide structured feedback to internal teams on market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer needs
What You Bring:
5–8+ years of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales, with a consistent track record of high performance
Experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals within large organisations in Germany and the broader DACH region
Knowledge of the Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data space is a significant plus
Ability to manage long sales cycles involving legal, procurement, and cross-functional stakeholders
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Fluent in German and English
Strong consultative selling skills and a value-led approach to customer engagement
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
