What's The Role?
We’re looking for a sharp, data-driven Competitive Intelligence Manager to help us stay ahead in the fast-evolving analytics and BI landscape. In this role, you’ll turn market signals into strategic insights, enabling our go-to-market teams with the intel they need to win—and influencing product and positioning with a deep understanding of our competitive terrain.
You’ll sit at the center of marketing, product, sales, and strategy—transforming research into competitive strategy and enablement.

What You'll Do:
Competitive Intelligence & Market Research
Monitor and analyze key competitors (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
Track feature launches, messaging, product roadmap signals, pricing, and organizational shifts
Build and maintain competitor profiles and dashboards
Sales Enablement & Field Support
Develop battlecards, quick-reference guides, and competitive talking points
Support major sales deals with tailored competitive insight
Train field and marketing teams on how to position against key competitors
Strategic Analysis & Reporting
Provide insights to marketing, product, and leadership teams on market trends and competitive shifts
Help guide positioning, messaging, and roadmap based on competitive movements
Contribute to market assessments, SWOTs, and TAM/SAM analyses
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with product marketing, product management, sales engineering, and strategy teams to feed CI into broader GTM planning
Serve as the voice of the market during roadmap and strategy discussions
What You Bring:
4–7 years of experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in analytics software or similar
Hands-on experience in a CI, market research, product marketing, or strategy role
Strong understanding of the modern data stack and competitive analytics landscape
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Proven ability to simplify complexity and present clear takeaways
Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving, high-stakes environment
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience with CI platforms like Crayon or Klue
Background in sales enablement, product marketing, or strategic GTM
Analytical background (BI tools, SQL, cloud data warehouses, etc.)
