We’re looking for a dynamic Digital Communications Manager to join our team and help us elevate our brand presence and engage our audience across various digital channels. The Digital Communications Manager will play a crucial role in shaping ThoughtSpot’s online presence and voice. This position is responsible for managing our organic social media presence on LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram, fostering and growing our social employee advocacy program, and producing The Data Chief podcast. The ideal candidate will have experience operating in a high-growth environment, a strong background in digital communications, a passion for storytelling, and experience in driving engagement through innovative content strategies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Social Media Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy for LinkedIn, X, and Instagram.
Create engaging content that reflects ThoughtSpot’s brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content and engagement strategies.
Employee Advocacy Program:
Manage and grow ThoughtSpot’s social employee advocacy program to amplify our brand message through employee networks.
Collaborate with employees to create authentic and shareable content that promotes our company culture and values.
Provide training and resources to empower employees as brand ambassadors on social media.
Podcast Production:
Produce “The Data Chief” podcast, including episode planning, guest coordination, recording, and post production editing with sound editing team.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to align podcast content with broader marketing strategies.
Promote podcast episodes across digital channels to maximize reach and engagement, growing The Data Chief podcast listener community.
Collaborate with Demand Gen marketing teams on leveraging The Data Chief for paid ads, seller kits, and pipeline generation activities.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze social media performance and podcast metrics to measure success and inform future strategies.
Prepare regular reports for leadership on engagement, growth, and the impact of digital initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, PR, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital platforms.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative campaigns and initiatives that support business objectives.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in digital communications, social media management, or related roles.
Proven track record of managing social media accounts, preferably in a B2B environment.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
Experience in podcast production and audio editing is a plus.
Strong project management skills coupled with a strong sense of ownership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to excel in fast-paced, asynchronous digital work environment
