As the Corporate Communications Director at ThoughtSpot, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company narrative and amplifying our mission. You will be responsible for evolving our corporate messaging, ensuring ThoughtSpot’s story is resonating both internally and externally. We’re looking for a strategic, process-driven, collaborator who can align with senior leadership and partner across the organization with our Marketing, Product, Sales, People, Legal and Finance teams to evangelize our mission of making the world more fact-driven.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and oversee corporate positioning that conveys the strategy, goals and mission of the organization, and how we communicate with key stakeholders including employees, customers, investors, partners, industry analysts.
  • Drive communications around business developments and corporate news (leadership appointments, M&A, change management, issue management) with relevant stakeholders.
  • Build and strengthen teamwork with key internal functions (HR, Finance, IT) to identify breakthrough stories that amplify ThoughtSpot’s business strength and momentum to internal and external audiences
  • Lead corporate internal communications and content for various channels – including monthly All Hands, AMAs, official all company newsletter, CKO remarks, and executive communications.
  • Support strategy and execution of investor communications in partnership with finance including annual IR day, prep for TMT conferences, investor notes.
  • Ideate and drive effective campaigns around critical company priorities and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on change management and crisis communications.

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, ideally with experience at a high growth technology company
  • A proven record building comms programs in-house from scratch, including experience in executive communications
  • Demonstrated ability to drive global communications around key business moments, delivering key messages that resonate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to learn quickly with a knack for breaking down complex concepts
  • Strong partnership and advisory skills in partnering with stakeholders across the business including executive leadership, HR, Finance, Legal Strong project management skills coupled with a strong sense of ownership
