What is the job?

The Global Technology Partner & Alliances Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive growth and enhance relationships with key technology partners. This role involves collaborating with partners, regional teams, and internal stakeholders to create joint marketing programs, co-branded initiatives, and integrated campaigns that amplify ThoughtSpot's market presence and drive mutual success.

What you'll do:
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Development
- Develop and Implement Alliance Strategies: Formulate and execute strategic marketing plans for key technology partnerships to support ThoughtSpot's business objectives.
- Identify New Partnership Opportunities: Collaborate with the Partner and Alliance managers to evaluate potential new opportunities that align with ThoughtSpot's strategic goals and market opportunities.

Joint Marketing Campaigns
- Plan and Execute Joint Campaigns: Design, manage, and optimize joint marketing campaigns with technology partners, including co-branded content, webinars, events, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Measure Campaign Effectiveness: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of joint marketing campaigns, using insights to refine and improve future initiatives.

Content and Collateral Development
- Create Co-Branded Content: Develop a variety of co-branded marketing materials, such as case studies, whitepapers, solution briefs, and videos, showcasing the combined value propositions of ThoughtSpot and its partners.
- Ensure Consistency and Quality: Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across all co-branded materials to ensure they align with ThoughtSpot's brand guidelines and messaging.

Event Coordination and Management
- Plan and Execute Partner Events: In collaboration with the regional field marketing teams, organize and manage joint events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and partner summits.
- Support Partner Participation: Facilitate partner participation in ThoughtSpot-hosted events, ensuring alignment with overall event goals and maximize partner visibility.

Relationship Management
- Build and Maintain Partner Relationships: Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key contacts at partner organizations to drive alignment and mutual success.
- Serve as a Liaison: Act as the primary marketing liaison between ThoughtSpot and its technology partners, ensuring clear and consistent communication.

Internal Collaboration and Coordination
- Align with Partner and Alliance Managers: Work closely with our partner and alliance managers to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and overall business goals.
- Coordinate with Regional Marketing Teams: Collaborate with regional marketing teams to tailor global partner marketing strategies to local markets and ensure cohesive execution.

Budget Management
- Manage Marketing Budgets: Develop and manage budgets for joint marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources to maximize ROI.

Reporting and Analysis
- Track and Report Performance: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for partner marketing activities and provide regular reporting on the impact and effectiveness of these initiatives.
- Use Data to Drive Decisions: Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and continuously improve marketing strategies and tactics.

What you bring:

  • This role is pivotal in enhancing ThoughtSpot's global market presence through strategic alliances and joint marketing efforts, ultimately driving growth and delivering value to both ThoughtSpot and its technology partners.

    Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in partner marketing, alliance marketing, or a related field.

    Skills: Strong strategic thinking, project management, communication, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
