As a Software Full Stack Engineer, you will work closely with manufacturing software teams helping to scale manufacturing tests and build a high throughput, high yield manufacturing system. This job will focus on tools for controlling and reporting on manufacturing, and on building tools and processes to facilitate manufacturing of our product.

Tarana is a fast revenue growth company built by outstanding talented people and with innovative technology. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years experience with wireless hardware (5G, WiFi, etc.) testing using such equipment as spectrum analyzers and high speed oscilloscopes, DAQs…etc

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for technical implementation aspects of projects including planning, architecture, design, development and testing for frontend and backend systems
  • Programming/code-reviews etc. based on project demands. Hands on programming is expected
  • Engage with cross functional teams to ensure that the solution is appropriate to fit to the problem while maintaining quality and high-throughput software solutions
  • Lead full-stack development for scalable, efficient and optimized testing of Tarana’s next gen wireless products at manufacturing
  • Responsible for defining and implementing project and technical road maps that align with company strategy
  • Research and pioneer the adoption and use of new technologies such as such as large-scale distributed system, cloud microservices, software fleet orchestration on AWS such as EKS, MSK, Lambda, etc
  • Capable of hands-on tactical helping the team to design, develop, test, and deliver software

Required Skills and Experience:

  • MS or BS degree required in engineering, computer science or other technical related field
  • 5-12 years of experience with the following technologies: Linux, JavaScript, Java, Python, SQL and/or NoSQL data stores
  • Developing automation infrastructure/tools, preferably for wireless products, building scalable and fault-tolerant test automation frameworks and libraries, Expert in triaging test infrastructure and pipelines
  • Node.js/React JS experience, building web applications with that have been successfully delivered to users
  • A collaborative, flexible, positive mindset, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, Experience using CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab, Jenkins, Jira
  • Knowledge of software design patterns and standards, REST and interaction, and the software development life cycle
  • Experience with developing automated internal frameworks or developer tools to increase developer release velocity or improve code health

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of distributed Message Queue such as Kafka
  • Understanding of RPC/gRPC
  • Data Science/ML Ops

The salary range for this position is: $130,000 to $175,000

Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to: skill set, years of experience and the employee’s geographic location.
