Tarana Wireless in Pune, India is looking for a Technical Program Manager for our Cloud based management suite for our wireless broadband systems. You will be part of the fast-paced engineering team, focused on developing the state-of-the-art fixed wireless access solution. Your main responsibility is to manage the project of our cutting-edge cloud-based SaaS -- a management system for wireless networks, scaling to serve millions of devices, using modern cloud-native architecture and microservices technologies.
Responsibilities
- Planning and managing the TCS (Tarana Cloud Suite) project to achieve high quality, and deliver software in a timely fashion.
- Guide and enforce the software development workflow
- Plan the sprint scope, resources, and schedule following Agile development practices
- Interact with Product Management for prioritization and to ensure clarity of requirements
- Serve as a liaison between in-house engineers and 3rd party contractors; help on communication and clearing any blockers
- Track engineering responses to customer-reported issues
- Manage source code branching and hot fixes deployment as needed
- Work with DevOps, tracking software versions running on multiple Cloud environments
- Provide project updates to interested parties and stakeholders on a regular basis
- B.E./B.Tech. or higher degree
- 10+ years work experience
- 4+ years of engineering experience on Cloud based services
- 4+ years on project or program management
- Knowledge of SDLC of cloud-based products a must
- Good understanding of terminology and technologies of Microservices and cloud-native architecture
- Ability to schedule, track and manage tasks effectively
- Good people skills and meeting hosting capability; passion on coordination and conflict resolution
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Release engineering skills and knowledge (on Jira, Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, etc) a plus
