You will be part of a growing Manufacturing Team responsible for developing and deploying test systems to verify and test complex wireless systems at scale. In this role, you will work with teams from multiple disciplines to build Test Systems that focus on ensuring functionality and quality of revolutionary wireless products—support hardware and software deployment in both domestic and overseas manufacturing facilities. You will analyze the test data and continually improve test systems, focusing on reliability and test time.

Here are the main things our team does:

  • Design and maintain test software and hardware for manufacturing test systems
  • Responsible for all aspects of manufacturing test readiness for new product introduction
  • Responsible for sustaining and test optimization through the volume ramp-up activity
  • Responsible for planning and deploying Factory equipment required for functional and board level testing
  • Work with software/firmware engineers, system engineers, and RF engineers to design/develop and automate tests
  • Automate wireless system testing using RF bench equipment
  • Work with Quality and Reliability teams to improve/enhance test methods, data collection, knowledgebase, and feedback to Customer Service to close the loop

Required Skills and Experience:

  • MS or higher in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5-12 years strong hardware debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Test System design for Functional testing using GPIB, RS-232, and USB interfaces is essential
  • Experience with Linux and Test Automation
  • Knowledge of JTAG interfaces and experience with the development of Boundary Scan tests is highly desirable. Familiarity with Asset or JTAG Technologies tools is a plus
  • Experience using and automating RF test equipment
  • Experience using the Git repository for software revision control is a plus.
  • Passionate and excited about working in a fast-moving startup with lots of exciting projects and opportunities for growth

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Volume Manufacturing of Network devices
  • RF Hardware experience
  • Electromechanical knowledge

Travel Requirements:

25% or greater, primary travel is to Guadalajara, Mexico currently.

The salary range for this position is: $130,000 to $175,000

Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to: skill set, years of experience and the employee’s geographic location.
