We are looking for an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join our Research & Systems Team, be responsible for developing system applications and internal tools to support our processes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop, integrate and test software and firmware systems;
  • Help in the definition of requirements and the development of internal software solutions to support production processes;
  • Contribute to the design of novel solutions that can be integrated into our products, including the prototyping of new modules;
  • Debugging and optimization of hardware production systems;
  • Writes well-designed, efficient, and scalable code, and also participates in code reviews and contributes to the development of standards and best practices;
  • Communicates with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support.

What you need to have:

  • More than 3 years of experience with C/C++, Python and shell programming languages;
  • Knowledge and experience in developing software/firmware for embedded systems;
  • Good knowledge of Linux OS;
  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills;
  • Passion for developing novel and unique systems that have a direct impact in people’s lives;
  • Natural leadership, winning personality and a drive to disrupt;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

What we would love to see:

  • Experience with sensor fusion/inertial sensing;
  • Experience with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), WiFi;
  • Experience with NRF52 SoC;
  • Experience with Zephyr RTOS.
