To Do What:

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of data pipelines, databases, and data warehouses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and identify solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Conduct testing and debugging of data infrastructure to ensure it meets business needs and requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of data pipelines and ensure it is up-to-date.

Our Ideal Candidate has:

  • Good Knowledge of SQL such as MySQL, and BigQuery. NoSQL is a plus;
  • Experience with data modeling like dimensional modeling;
  • Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, etc;
  • Experience in cloud-based architectures, such as GCP and AWS;
  • Experience with streaming and/or batch architectures: Kafka ecosystem, Spark, Flink, and others.

Bonus Points if you have:

  • Knowledge of Data Governance;
  • Experience with orchestration tools, namely Airflow;
  • Experience with DBT (Data-Build Tool);
  • Experience with industry-leader BI & visualization tools such as Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, etc;
  • Experience with IaC (Terraform) and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
