About the team
The Communications team builds and protects Stripe’s brand and influence across the world. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial and creative communications leader to deepen the understanding around the positive economic impact Stripe is having in Ireland. You’ll be part of Stripe’s International Communications team.

As well as being the location of Stripe’s dual HQ (alongside South San Francisco), Ireland is home to many fast-growing businesses powered by Stripe and flagship initiatives such as the Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition. We’re proud of our role in the Irish economy, and this is a terrific role for a world-class communications leader who is eager to help deepen our reputation and positive impact. The ideal candidate is highly flexible, ambitious and creative. They’re passionate about engaging with Ireland’s most entrepreneurial companies—from tech unicorns like Wayflyer and Flipdish to iconic organisations like the GAA and The Irish Times. They’re also close to Ireland’s tech and business community.
Responsibilities
- Shape Stripe’s narrative in Ireland by actively connecting with the country’s most interesting thinkers and builders. You will find creative, ever-changing tactics to underscore how Stripe drives economic progress for Ireland, identifying new ways to advance science and technology (including the Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition).
- Work closely with Stripe partners and users of all sizes, infusing their voices into campaigns, news announcements, and other activities.
- Own relationships with key Irish reporters, influencers, and opinion formers and manage reactive issues as they arise.
- Work hand-in-hand with our local Irish leadership team, across product, go-to-market, and policy.

Minimum requirements
- Highly entrepreneurial. You must be highly adaptable, fast to learn, and possess a track record of building creative campaigns from scratch.
- Plugged into the Irish ecosystem. You’re deeply curious about the causes of economic growth. Ideally you’re well-connected with the Irish business and progress community, and capable of quickly building relationships with the most interesting thinkers and builders in Ireland.
- Comms and issues management: Experience in corporate communications, and an ability to run with complex corporate issues confidently.
The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €80,000 - €120,000. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
