What you’ll do

In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in driving our expansion within high-priority segments such as trading & DeFi, agentic payments, socialFi and consumer social / gaming, and helping Privy break into new frontier markets. If you're a hungry strategic thinker with a passion for meeting developers who are building the next wave of cutting-edge products, cultivating customer & partner relationships on the ground and going deep on crypto use cases, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Play a critical role in becoming an end market expert and discovering new applications and ecosystems at crypto’s frontier. You will build and iterate outbound campaigns based on feedback and manage outreach strategies across different market segments.
  • Pipeline Management: You’ll partner with the Head of Crypto GTM and the rest of the GTM team to generate, close and deliver a robust pipeline of high quality, use case prospects. You’ll also manage the existing self-serve and inbound funnel to make sure the highest quality prospects are engaged.
  • Product Expertise & Discovery: Become an expert on Privy's products, confidently leading initial discovery calls with crypto prospects to understand their needs and demonstrate our value.
  • Deal Cycle Management: Own a pipeline of customer relationships, acting as the main Privy stakeholder for high priority customers until they implement Privy in production. Manage a set of existing high priority prospects to ensure their needs are served as they head into production.
  • GTM Strategy & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, new opportunities, and shape our counter-positioning. Assist on projects and initiatives aimed at refining our strategy and playbook — this could include partnerships, pricing analysis, RevOps / billing strategy and customer-specific product feedback for the Engineering org.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Privy at key industry events, conferences and hackathons, serving as a knowledgeable and engaging spokesperson for our crypto vertical.

Who you are

We're seeking a proactive, intellectually curious and results-oriented individual who has a pre-existing background in crypto or a sales / BD background with a deep interest in being crypto native. You’ve preferably worked with developers in a certain capacity prior and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years of GTM experience in the crypto industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify client needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales management tools.

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80% in-office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $163,400 - $245,200. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
