About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

Our team is at the heart of evolving how users manage their money on Stripe. By developing the treasury financial accounts, we're crafting the foundation of a reimagined user experience that allows Stripe users to store, send, and receive money seamlessly across the globe. This initiative is not just about adding new features but transitioning Stripe's core products to integrate these capabilities into everyday operations, making complex financial processes simple and intuitive for our users.

We are seeking a passionate Product Manager who will lead our Treasury Financial Accounts initiatives, shaping strategies that amplify our impact and accelerate Stripe’s mission to help internet businesses grow faster.

What you’ll do

As the Product Manager for Treasury Financial Accounts, you will be the visionary driving the integration of sophisticated financial capabilities into the Stripe platform, making these processes intuitive and accessible for our users. You will:

  • Define and drive the strategic vision for Treasury Financial Accounts, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into the core user experience.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative money management features that are reliable and scalable.
  • Engage with the go-to-market teams to ensure the strategic direction is aligned with customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Identify and articulate the unique value propositions of these capabilities for diverse user types, from startups to global enterprises.

Responsibilities

  • Understand User Needs: Deeply understand the financial management needs of our diverse user base and how they can benefit from robust money management capabilities.
  • Shape Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and roadmap that aligns with Stripe’s broader vision and market demands.
  • Execute Relentlessly: Drive product development processes from ideation to launch, ensuring the delivery of high-value experiences for our users.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, design, legal, and other teams to ensure cohesive execution and alignment across all phases of product development and launch.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Advocate for the Treasury Financial Accounts vision internally and externally, ensuring key stakeholders are informed and engaged.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 8+ years of product management or related experience with a strong track record of launching impactful finance or payments products.
  • Experience in developing and executing product strategies that involve complex financial systems or regulations.
  • Ability to navigate and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in treasury services or financial account management.
  • Founder background or experience in early-stage startup environments.
  • A strong understanding of international payments, FX, and compliance.
  • Background in building platforms with multiparty transaction capabilities.

Join us in transforming how the world manages money, making Stripe more than just a transaction processor, but a financial partner for businesses around the globe.

This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).

Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently or plan to live.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $214,300 - $321,500. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
