That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Workplace team’s mission is to create and support work environments that are welcoming, comfortable, and intuitive. These spaces are designed to promote collaboration, well-being, and productivity while adhering to the rigorous safety, security, and confidentiality standards required of a financial services company.

The Workplace Experience team comprises hospitality-focused professionals who directly shape the daily experiences of Stripes, visitors, and candidates across 20+ global office locations. This geographically dispersed team oversees facilities management, daily operations, and programs, including a culinary team dedicated to preparing nutritious meals.

What you’ll do

As a key member of the Workplace Experience team, you will lead the group responsible for developing and managing global workplace programs that enhance the Stripe employee experience. These programs include Food, Onsites and Events, Environmental Health and Safety, and Facilities Management (FM) Programs. You will scale team-wide tools, resources, and processes while driving global operational alignment through policies, standards, and guidelines. This role reports directly to the Head of Workplace Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a distributed team and provide direction and performance management to foster team excellence and continuous improvement
  • Oversee the development and management of workplace programs, including Environmental Health and Safety, Food, FM Provider Programs, Transportation, and Onsites and Events
  • Develop and scale tools, resources, and processes to support the Workplace Experience team
  • Drive global operational alignment through the creation of policies, standards, and guidelines
  • Design measurement frameworks and synthesize feedback to enhance programs and processes
  • Establish and maintain standards for conducting program and site-specific business reviews
  • Build roadmaps and iterate on team goals and priorities
  • Collaborate across the Workplace Experience team, Workplace pillars (e.g., Design and Construction, Real Estate Strategy), and cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, HR, Corporate Security) to align workplace programs with broader business objectives
  • Identify gaps in current offerings and develop projects and programs to address them
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply.

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in program management within senior workplace services or facilities management, preferably in a global, fast-paced, and growth-oriented organization
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Deep knowledge of project and program management, with a track record of successfully bringing projects and programs to market
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with workplace technology, sustainability practices, and trends in employee experience
  • Willingness to travel to Stripe's global office locations as needed

Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $168,000 - $252,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
