We are hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to join our team located in Washington, DC.

As a member of the Growth Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end execution of B2B marketing campaigns, from concept through launch, measurement, and iteration.
  • Execute campaigns across channels including email, paid media, ABM-style outreach, landing pages, and basic lifecycle programs.
  • Write and edit campaign copy; partner with or directly manage lightweight design and creative execution.
  • Operate and manage marketing tools and systems (CMS, paid platforms, segmentation, analytics) required to launch and monitor campaigns.
  • Support account-based marketing efforts by executing campaigns against defined enterprise account lists.
  • Partner closely with Sales to ensure campaigns align with active outreach, messaging, and pipeline goals.
  • Monitor performance, surface insights, and support rapid test-and-learn cycles with clear pass/fail criteria.
  • Contribute tactical input to campaign design, channel selection, and execution strategy based on hands-on experience.
  • Maintain high execution velocity in a lean environment where speed, clarity, and iteration matter more than perfection.

Essential Qualifications for this position include:

  • 4+ years of professional work experience in B2B marketing, with meaningful hands-on campaign execution responsibility
  • Prior professional work experience executing demand generation or growth marketing campaigns (not just planning or managing agencies)
  • Copywriting and messaging skills for B2B audiences
  • Prior professional work experience working across multiple channels, including email and paid media
  • Ability to work directly in marketing tools and systems (CMS, paid platforms, analytics, segmentation tools)
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and ship work in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaboration skills and ability to work closely with Sales and cross-functional partners

Preferred Qualifications for this position include:

  • Prior professional work experience supporting enterprise or mid-market B2B sales motions
  • Prior professional work experience with account-based or targeted outbound-aligned marketing programs
  • Prior professional work experience in a startup or high-growth organization
  • Knowledge of experimentation frameworks and performance-driven marketing
  • Prior professional work experience working in a low-brand or category-creating environment

This is an in-office work opportunity and our team operates from the Washington, DC office (located at L and 15th St. NW) 5 (five) days per week. State Affairs offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package to employees.

The salary range for this role as it is posted is $110,000 to $145,000 for candidates working from the State Affairs office in Washington, DC. The final job level and total compensation will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity. Benefits listed in this posting may vary depending on the nature of your employment with State Affairs.
