As the Custom Products Manager within the sales team at Amaze, you will oversee the direction and operation of a full-scope end-to-end white-labeled agency model service, leading the Custom Products team in the planning, implementation and growth of successful direct-to-consumer programs. Using your knowledge of Retail, Merchandising and Assortments, you will empower the team to drive the development of strong merchandising strategies, cultivating exceptional long-term relationships and driving company growth and expansion. You will oversee and optimize a network of global manufacturing vendors and IP and retail partners, implementing a successful vendor, retail and IP strategy to drive new business and bring the best opportunities to our creator database. The ideal candidate brings a strong vendor and creator network, retail and business acumen, is highly organized, adept at managing multiple priorities, and brings creativity to develop successful launch campaigns, ensuring satisfaction among brands, agencies, creators, and their fan base. With a focus on performance, you'll also be expected to consistently work towards and meet quarterly targets, demonstrating your commitment to achieving both personal and organizational goals, as well as setting effective KPIs for the team.

What you'll do:

  • Acting as the internal expert for your department, you’ll ensure the team has all they need to provide creative consultation and insights on industry trends, merchandising recommendations, and available product offerings and opportunities, bringing to life creative projects through your expertise and through collaboration with designers on creative briefs
  • Drive material and process improvements, ideating on ways to set up the department for success by collaborating cross-functionally with Operations and Client Success teams
  • Providing merchandising, product development, and assortment planning consultation to the broader Client Success team for global sourcing, retail and IP opportunities as well print-on-demand offerings where optimal. Utilizing data insights to provide the best recommendations
  • Research, identify, and evaluate potential IP and retail partners, vendors for custom product requests
  • Develop, scale and implement a critical path process to ensure the success of each project, maximizing revenue and minimizing expenditure
  • Collaborating with the wider client services and operations team acting as the core lead for related projects and ensuring any problems that arise are resolved
  • Consistently negotiating with partners on MOQs, pricing and revenue share models to best meet the needs of clients and bring new growth opportunities to pitch alongside the Client Success team
  • Leverage tools such as monday.com and Hubspot to build out timelines, ensure all reporting is up to date and ensure all project plans and timelines are met
  • Direct and collaborate on the enhancement of the product catalog, streamlining the process for identifying and presenting opportunities with manufacturing, retail and IP partners, and scaling the service—all while considering the clients’ needs
  • Suggest and implement best practices, process improvements, and share insights with the team based on industry knowledge
  • Stay informed about domestic and customs regulations, ensuring compliance with internal policies

What you'll need:

  • 5 years+ in any Client Services, Partnerships, Custom Product Sourcing roles.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with a CRM and Project Management systems is required, Hubspot and Monday are preferable
  • Experience with global supply chain and fulfillment
  • Strong business acumen and experience providing strategic advice to customers
  • Exceptional ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of personalities, levels, and role capacities
  • Confidence, with accurate and clear communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and analytical (ability to understand data/reporting)
  • A clear passion for working in a customer-facing role within the Creator Economy
  • Ability to thrive in a high energy, fast paced environment
