About the Role
Join us as a Software Engineer II on the Integrations Team, where you’ll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the systems that connect JustPark to its partners, internal platforms, and external services.
The Integrations Team owns the APIs, services, and data flows that power key business capabilities across the company, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable integrations that support our products and partners.
This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging problems at the heart of JustPark’s platform and help shape the direction of our integration architecture as the business continues to grow.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, deploy, and iterate on backend services and APIs that support internal and external integrations
- Own and improve the reliability, scalability, and security of integration systems
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver well-defined, dependable integrations
- Contribute to platform-level concerns such as observability, incident response, and operational excellence
- Improve development workflows, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines
- Help define best practices and technical standards for integration development across the organization
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring other engineers

- Golang Expertise: 3+ years of professional experience with Golang
- Backend & API Design: Strong experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services
- Database Skills: Solid experience with SQL and data layer design
- Cloud Savvy: Extensive hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, Cognito, Lambda, RDS) and/or Google Cloud (GKE)
- CI/CD Champion: Proficiency with modern CI/CD workflows and tools like GitHub Actions, Codefresh, or ArgoCD
- Testing Pro: Proficiency with modern testing patterns and tools
- Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, GitHub, and Confluence
- AI First Development: Thoughtfully collaborate with AI tools to increase efficiency and decrease time from idea to production
- Dallas-based, ideally within commuting distance of our Dallas office to work in a hybrid model
Bonus Experience
- Experience building or maintaining integration platforms or partner-facing APIs.
- Experience working with distributed systems.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, or asynchronous workflows.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent education preferred.

Our Hiring Process
- First Stage Interview (30 mins) - Virtual interview with the People Team to tell you more about JustPark and discuss your background, career goals, and role fit
- Hiring Manager Interview (45 mins) - Virtual interview with the Hiring Manager to dive deeper into your experience and your interest for the role
- Third-stage - A take home tech task. We always make sure that the task is relevant for the role and efficient for the process. Our tasks vary in length based on the role and seniority but the task would never take longer than a max. of 3-4 hours to complete
- Panel Interview (1 hour) - Virtual interview with a panel of the Engineering team to discuss your tech test in more detail, your approach taken and final questions from you around the role and JustPark
