About SiPhox Health:

SiPhox Health combines silicon‑photonics diagnostics with AI to make frequent, affordable blood testing a routine part of preventive care. Our freemium PDF‑upload pipeline lets anyone drag‑and‑drop an external lab report and receive structured results, evidence‑based insights, and longitudinal tracking inside minutes. Ensuring those extracted results are clinically accurate is critical.

Position Summary:

The Clinical Quality Assurance Associate safeguards the integrity of every report flowing through our upload service. You will review algorithm‑extracted biomarker values, confirm units and reference ranges, insights, recommendations, flag discrepancies, and feed edge cases back to engineering so the pipeline keeps getting smarter. Your work turns raw PDFs into trustworthy data that powers SiPhox coaching, research, and product decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance:
    • Cross‑check AI‑parsed lab values, units, and flags against the original PDF, correcting errors and documenting failure modes.
    • Verify that critical or out‑of‑range results trigger the correct urgency logic and user notifications.
    • Maintain accuracy dashboards (precision/recall, turnaround time) and report trends to product and ML teams.
  • Content Integrity:
    • Audit auto‑generated health insights tied to uploaded reports, confirming clinical relevance and guideline alignment.
    • Suggest prompt or rule changes when recurring issues are observed.
  • Clinical Operations Support:
    • Investigate user‑reported extraction problems; reproduce issues, provide clear explanations, and, when needed, request replacement reports.
    • Collaborate with Customer Success on messaging for critical‑value follow‑ups.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Contribute SOPs for new lab vendors, biomarker panels, and PDF formats.
    • Promptly identify and escalate any anomalies or inaccuracies in test reporting systems.
    • Document and communicate issues effectively within the health expert and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure all QA activities meet HIPAA, CLIA, and CAP data‑handling requirements.
    • Log deviations, corrective actions, and validation evidence for internal audits.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Familiarity with common blood panels, reference ranges, and critical‑value protocols.
    • Prior experience in a clinical operations or quality assurance role.

Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional startup environment.
  • Excel/Google Sheets proficiency; bonus for basic Python.
