India's largest banks, insurers, digital natives and government departments are not short of AI pilots. They are short of AI in production.

Closing that gap is the hardest problem in enterprise AI, and it is what Deployment Strategists at Sarvam do. You own the arc of a customer engagement, from the first proof of concept through to their systems running live, handling millions of real conversations across Indian languages and delivering the outcomes we signed up to. If Sarvam's technology is going to reach a billion people rather than sit in a slide deck, it happens through this team.

Every large institution is its own environment, with its own core systems, telephony, CRM, compliance perimeter and operational reality. You work out what it takes for an AI system to hold up inside that specific environment, run the programme, and stay accountable until it is live and performing.

Our engagements run from focused proofs of concept to multi-year programmes inside India's biggest enterprises and government departments, worth crores and reaching millions of people. We are hiring across levels to cover that range.

About Sarvam

Sarvam is India's leading full-stack AI company, building sovereign AI infrastructure and applications purpose-built for India. Headquartered in Bengaluru and founded by leading AI researchers, Sarvam builds foundational models for Indian languages, enterprise AI platforms, and voice-first AI agents that serve hundreds of millions of Indians. Sarvam is backed by top-tier investors and works with national and state governments, large enterprises, and developers across the country. We are building the AI layer for a billion people.

What this role promises you

You own the outcome

You are not tracking someone else's plan. You own the scope, the timeline, and whether the numbers land. When a deployment works, it is because you made it work.

The room where AI meets the Indian economy

You will work directly with the leadership of India's largest banks, insurers and NBFCs, with central and state government departments, and with the fastest-moving companies in automotive, travel, healthcare, education and the digital-native economy. Different industries, different constraints, systems that go into live operation. Few roles in India offer this view of how AI actually reaches people.

What you'll do

  • Own deployments end to end, from proof of concept through to the system running in production and hitting its committed KPIs.

  • Run the proof of concept where a customer needs to see it work before committing at scale. Getting to a convincing result quickly is often what unlocks the full deployment.

  • Do the implementation discovery a specific customer requires: their integrations, their processes, their data reality, their compliance constraints, their edge cases, and shape the solution around what you find.

  • Run the programme: plan, timelines, dependencies, risks, scope discipline, and the difficult conversations when something is off track.

  • Be the customer's point of contact through delivery.

  • Work with the deployment team on your engagement, whether that is Sarvam's Agent Engineers, certified partner teams, or both, and hold the delivery quality bar for the engagement.

  • Drive adoption on the ground. A system that works technically but is not used by the collections team, the branch staff or the citizen helpdesk has not landed. Getting it genuinely adopted is part of the job.

  • Own the documentation and operating charter for your deployment: how the system is run, monitored and scaled after go-live, so it holds up long after the launch.

  • Write the process and engagement playbooks that make the next deployment in that motion faster: how it gets scoped, planned, integrated and adopted.

Who you are

We are hiring across levels, from 4+ years of experience. What matters more than years is whether you have owned an outcome in front of a customer and delivered it.

  • You have delivered, not just managed. You have owned client-facing delivery where the outcome was yours, whether that is a workstream inside a large programme or the whole programme itself. Most likely from consulting, high-quality systems integration, or an enterprise delivery organisation. You have carried a date and a number, not just a project plan.

  • You are technical enough to be taken seriously. You do not need to write production code, but you should be able to argue with an engineer about an integration approach, understand why an evaluation is failing, and reason about latency, reliability and scale without hand-waving.

  • You understand agentic AI. How LLMs and agents behave in production, why prompts and evaluations matter, and what breaks at scale. Ideally you have delivered AI systems yourself.

  • You have worked inside hard environments. Large regulated enterprises, banks, insurers, or the public sector, where procurement is slow, integration is messy, and change management is most of the job.

  • You communicate precisely. Crisp writing, clear escalation, no ambiguity about status.

Sarvam is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of background, identity, or personal characteristics. We believe the best AI for India can only be built by a team that reflects India.
