📚What You’re Doin’
- Work with founders and design to establish priorities and then architect and build out scoped work
- Lead the planning, architecture, and build of large-scale features and systems with scalability, stability, and security in mind
- Manage codebase builds, resolve dependency issues, and implement CI tooling
- Implement best practices and coding standards: Adhere to and promote industry best practices, clean code, and design patterns, while continuously improving code quality, maintainability, and testability
- Work to continuously identify and solve problem areas as it relates to our product
- Drive innovation and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies
- Be a positive force in developing a culture of engineering excellence, ownership, and curiosity
🪞You
- 6+ years of professional software development experience building large scale applications from 0 to 1
- Computer Science or equivalent degree
- Fluent in TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience with the following technologies/tools:
- Node.js
- GraphQL
- AWS
- PostgresSQL
- Gitlab
- You know what it is like at a Startup or fast paced environment
- A builder with a “gets things done” attitude
- Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with technical and non-technical team members to deliver feature sets
- Excellent attention to detail and desire to identify problem areas that we can iterate on to improve
