About the Role
As the Lead for Global Partner Excellence, you will design and lead Rubrik’s partner pre-sales enablement strategy, owning high-impact initiatives such as the Tech Champion (existing) and Sales Champion (to be launched) programs. You’ll architect scalable, role-based enablement programs that increase partner AE and SE participation, drive consistent deal performance, and build a thriving partner community that champions Rubrik’s value in every opportunity. You will also lead the partnerization of Rubrik’s enablement content, adapting internal sales, SE, and GTM materials for partner use, working either with a small team reporting directly to you or through shared resources within the Sales and SE Transformation organizations. This role also plays a pivotal part in upskilling and enabling internal Global Partner Organization (GPO) teams, helping them adopt new programs, methodologies, and ways of operating to better enable and engage partners.
Rubrik’s success depends on an ecosystem of empowered, capable partners, and on the internal partner organization ready to enable them at scale. As the Global Partner Transformation Director, you will define how Rubrik’s partners learn, engage, and succeed. You’ll drive programs, frameworks, and content strategies that build partner capability and ensure Rubrik’s ecosystem continues to grow with confidence, consistency, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Partner Sales and Pre-Sales Enablement Programs
- Own Rubrik’s partner enablement strategy, spanning sales and technical readiness across the partners.
- Launch, scale, and run the Sales Champion Program globally, establishing it as a core capability-building engine for partner Account Executives across all partner pathways
- Continue to evolve and expand the Tech Champion Program, aligning technical and sales readiness into a cohesive enablement journey.
- Design graduation paths and competency frameworks that strengthen AE and SE mastery, repeatability, and sales performance.
- Partner with the customer transformation team to build and sustain a Partner Champion Community that fosters peer learning, engagement, recognition, and advocacy among partners.
- Develop engagement mechanisms and recognition programs to increase participation, retention, and alignment with Rubrik’s GTM priorities.
- Define and track KPIs that connect engagement and enablement participation to measurable sales outcomes (e.g., pipeline creation, conversion, and repeatability).
2. Lead and Coordinate Partner Content Partnerization
- Oversee/Perform/Coordinate the partnerization of internal GTM, sales, and SE enablement content, ensuring materials are adapted for partner relevance and usability.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Transformation, SE Transformation, and Partner Marketing teams to align enablement assets across audiences.
- Provide leadership for a small team or matrixed contributors responsible for content adaptation, quality control, and scalability.
- Ensure that all partner-facing enablement content is role-specific, modular, and aligned to Rubrik’s brand, methodology, and sales motions.
3. Empower and Enable Internal GPO Teams
- Drive internal enablement and upskilling across the Global Partner Organization (GPO) to ensure teams effectively adopt and operationalize new programs.
- Build enablement pathways for Partner Sales Managers, BDMs, GAMs, SEs, and Alliance Leaders to help them integrate Champion programs and partner engagement practices into daily workflows.
- Establish systems for continuous learning and capability uplift across GPO roles, maintaining alignment with evolving partner strategies and business priorities.
- Create and maintain strong feedback loops between GPO Leadership team, partner-facing teams, Internal Sales and SE transformation teams and Channel marketing team to continually refine enablement strategy and execution.
4. Data, Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define and monitor KPIs for partner participation, enablement engagement, and impact on Rubrik sales performance.
- Leverage analytics to continuously refine programs, enhance engagement, and demonstrate clear ROI to leadership.
- Partner with Operations and Analytics teams to develop visibility dashboards that track progress and inform decisions.
Who You Are
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in partner enablement, sales/technical readiness, or channel programs within enterprise software or SaaS.
- Proven success building and operating pre-sales enablement or champion programs with measurable business impact.
- Deep understanding of partner ecosystems, AE/SE roles, and indirect go-to-market motions.
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional and matrixed teams, including content or enablement specialists.
- Strong collaboration skills with Sales, SE, Customer Success, and Partner Operations leaders.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation abilities.
