About the Team

Developer Platform engineering organization is the heart and nervous system of Rubrik engineering community where we enable all Rubrik engineers to bring their best productivity in coding, building and testing. This team also develops & provides the best infrastructure (and processes) for continuous deployment of our SaaS and On-premise product offerings into production environments. As our products add more features and functionalities to the portfolio, you will be provided with more unique and diverse problems that require innovation that will help in accelerating your career.

What you’ll do

  • Build and drive the roadmap for the release workflows of our world class SaaS and on-premise products with execution focussed on high quality (scalability, reliability & security)
  • Build and drive roadmap for high velocity qualification of Rubrik products (builds, pipelines etc)
  • Lead our team of highly talented engineers to build & enhance infrastructure platforms, critical applications & engineering pipelines
  • Provide leadership to projects from inception to implementation
  • Champion an atmosphere of continuous improvement with a metrics driven culture
  • Provide support and guidance that enables the team to self-organize and to achieve sustained high velocity and predictability
  • Help employees grow through career development, coaching, and mentoring while guiding senior contributors to maximize their potential
  • Foster a strong collaborative mindset working closely with customers, Architects, and Program Management to bring diverse viewpoints and goals together
  • Install operational rigor and discipline by organizing sprint planning, and daily stand-up, you keep the bar high for performance, are never afraid of tough conversations and always hold the team accountable for deliveries

Experience you’ll need

  • A passionate leader who is obsessed with building technically strong teams and has 14+ years of Software Development experience and 3+ years in Engineering Management role
  • Experience hiring, building top talent teams
  • Experience in delivering enterprise-quality scalable Distributed Systems with high quality standards
  • Software development experience on Cloud/SaaS and on-premises platform environments
  • Experience building and cultivating strong engineering practices and processes
  • Experience working with cross-geo global engineering teams
  • Preferred (not mandatory) - Exposure to development of internal engineering platforms for either software development processes, release processes or for Dev productivity improvements
  • Have track record of effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
