About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer II who thrives in multi-cloud environments and enjoys solving complex challenges at scale. In this key role, you’ll have deep influence over cloud governance, security, and financial efficiency across leading platforms—AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure (including Gov Clouds). You’ll be hands-on with account provisioning, IAM, and cloud security, collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Your expertise will drive both business agility and cloud innovation!
What you’ll do:

- Cloud Onboarding & Provisioning: Review user requirements and provision new AWS accounts, Azure tenants/subscriptions, and GCP projects while ensuring best practices in setup.
- Tagging & Cost Management: Implement effective tagging strategies across all accounts for transparent cost tracking and budget ownership.
- Cross-Platform Development: Contribute to developing and maintaining tooling and platforms that enhance cloud operations, security, and efficiency across all cloud providers.
- Governance & Security: Take the lead in managing IAM org policies, Single Sign-On, and advanced security controls in AWS, Azure, and GCP Gov Clouds.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with our Security team to design and roll out robust security services and frameworks.
- Marketplace & Vendor Management: Manage public cloud marketplace purchases and coordinate with vendors for procurement of new services, licenses, and support.
- Cloud Savings Initiatives: Partner with cloud vendors to optimize savings plans, reserved instances, and committed use discounts across all clouds.
- Cost Optimization: Proactively identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while collaborating with stakeholders and finance teams.
- Billing Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for billing, invoicing, and procurement inquiries, supporting decision-makers with reliable insights.
Experience you’ll need:
- 7–12 years in CloudOps/Engineering with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, and GCP fundamentals, especially IAM, logging, and policy management.
- Strong understanding of platform development principles and experience with API design and integration.
- In-depth knowledge in:
- Advanced automation skills, particularly with Python and Terraform.
- Strong background in cloud cost optimization and FinOps principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Passion for learning, innovation, and driving industry best-practices in cloud environments.
