The Role

We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own go-to-market strategy and execution for Rubrik for Unstructured Data, one of our fastest-growing product lines. This is a high-impact role where you'll essentially operate as the "CMO" of your business area - driving strategy, influencing across the organization, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment with significant growth expectations.

You'll be joining our Enterprise Data Protection team at an exciting time. We have dedicated sales teams, targeted marketing campaigns, and strategic partnerships all focused on accelerating growth in unstructured data protection. This creates a tremendous opportunity, but also means you'll need to thrive under pressure and move quickly to capture market momentum.

What You'll Own:

  • Product Strategy & Positioning: Lead go-to-market strategy for Rubrik for Unstructured Data, expanding our story from traditional on-premises focus to wherever unstructured data lives - on-prem, AWS, Azure, GCP, and beyond
  • Cross-functional Execution: Work with dedicated sales teams, campaign marketers, and product teams to launch new capabilities and drive revenue growth
  • Vertical & Strategic Account Marketing: Integrate unstructured data messaging into our healthcare vertical initiatives and enterprise "whale" account strategies
  • Partnership Marketing: Support our growing Pure Storage partnership, including joint product launches, reference architectures, and co-marketing programs around our Cyber Resilience Stack
  • Global Expansion: Drive strategy and execution across North America while supporting growth in EMEA and APAC markets

What Success Looks Like:

  • You'll create compelling messaging that resonates with IT directors and C-suite executives alike.
  • You'll enable our sales teams with battle cards, competitive intelligence, and customer stories.
  • You'll identify market trends before competitors catch on and influence our product roadmap.
  • Most importantly, you'll drive measurable business results by aligning resources across the organization and winning hearts and minds to prioritize your initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 8+ years in enterprise product marketing at high-tech companies targeting IT organizations
  • Technical Depth: Comfort with complex technical topics, especially data protection, storage, or cloud infrastructure
  • Enterprise Savvy: Track record of messaging to Fortune 500 companies and working with enterprise sales teams
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Ability to influence without authority and drive results across matrixed organizations
  • Global Perspective: Experience working across geographies in rapidly scaling international companies
  • Execution Excellence: Equal comfort developing strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute
  • Communication Skills: Strong writing and presentation abilities - we'll ask for work samples

Bonus Points For:

  • Data protection, backup/recovery, or enterprise storage experience
  • Healthcare or other vertical market knowledge
  • Partnership or alliance marketing experience
  • Direct customer presentation experience
  • Coaching or mentoring experience in fast-growth environments

Education: BA/BS required, MBA preferred

This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Data Protection Product Marketing and is based in our Palo Alto headquarters. The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
