We are seeking a Deal Operations Specialist to join our expanding Worldwide Deal Desk team. This role will work directly with sales and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting sales, be comfortable in ambiguous situations, have an affinity for solving problems, and a desire to work in a role that continuously evolves as our organization grows.

As a Deal Operations Specialist, you will assist sales representatives with exception quoting inquiries within SFDC and CPQ systems. You will work cross-functionally with the CPQ, IT, and Deal Structuring teams to support the Sales organization, ensuring timely responses to inquiries. Your role includes supporting sales teams throughout the sales cycle, serving as a Subject Matter Expert for new Go-To-Market strategies, and identifying and resolving bugs in the quoting process. Additionally, you will collaborate with the CPQ and Business Process teams to improve the Quote to Cash cycle and accelerate deal velocity.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work within SFDC & CPQ system to assist sales reps with quoting inquiries
  • Quickly learn and master the quoting process
  • Work cross functionally with the CPQ, Pricing and Packaging, and Deal Structuring Team to support the Sales Department
  • Respond to Sales inquiries timely (quote requests, status updates, pricing details)
  • Support sales teams throughout complete sales cycle to meet customer needs
  • Be a ‘Subject Matter Expert’ for new Go-To-Market strategies such as Cloud marketplace transactions, software only sales on alliance partner hardware & customer utility models
  • Identify bugs in the quoting process and drive resolution of those items by performing testing to ensure system is working properly
  • Collaborate with the CPQ and Business Process teams to drive improvements to Quote to Cash cycle and accelerate deal velocity

Experience you’ll need:

  • 2+ years of experience with Sales/Deal Ops, Channel Operations, Deal Desk
  • Experience with a tiered sales channel and go to market strategy
  • Familiarity with SaaS, On-Prem
  • Experience in a high volume / multi transactional environment
  • Experience embracing new technology, applications, and solutions

Location: Bangalore, India - Required to be in the office 3 days a week.
