About the team and the role:

Rubrik is a global leader in on-premises and cloud data management and security solutions. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager with a technical background to manage Rubrik’s virtual on-premises and cloud software platform offerings for traditional workloads Rubrik empowers organizations to simplify backup, recover, and archive their data in the cloud, at the edge, or on-premises. You will be responsible for managing the software platforms that run traditional workloads in the cloud, as well as those that use virtualization to deliver on-premises protection. These solutions will empower our sales teams and resellers to deliver seamless data management experiences to customers.

What you will do:

  1. Own the Rubrik Cloud Cluster Elastic Storage (CC-ES) Platform Offering:
    1. Lead the full product lifecycle, from ideation through development, launch, and ongoing enhancements.
    2. Drive alignment and consistency of management between Rubrik’s next generation cloud native SaaS protection and the Cloud Custer offerings.
    3. Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with customer needs and business objectives.
    4. Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to develop new features and optimize existing functionalities.
    5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and drive data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  2. Own the virtualized Edge for ROBO and cluster platform offerings of Rubrik’s CDM software:
    1. Oversee the product lifecycle for virtualized Edge solutions for Remote Office/Branch Office (ROBO) and cluster platforms.
    2. Gather and prioritize product requirements, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with market demands and company goals.
    3. Manage the development and testing phases to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of new features and solutions.
    4. Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback and drive product improvements based on their needs.
  3. Drive strategic product initiatives:
    1. Continuously evaluate the competitive landscape and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
    2. Develop and execute strategies to differentiate Rubrik’s offerings and strengthen market position.
    3. Communicate the product vision and strategy effectively to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support.
  4. Support and engage with Rubrik field, the Rubrik reseller community and customers:
    1. Provide technical expertise and support to sales teams and resellers, enabling them to deliver compelling data management solutions.
    2. Develop training and enablement materials to ensure sales teams and resellers are well-equipped to sell and support Rubrik products.
    3. Engage with key customers and prospects to understand their needs and nt collaboration, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
    4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
    5. Program management and operations experience.
    6. Data protection and/or cyber security experience (desirable).
    7. Experience writing detailed complex documentation.
    8. Experience presenting technical material to small and large audiences.
    9. A desire to continuously learn and have fun.demonstrate the value of Rubrik’s solutions.
  5. Utilize industry standard product management methodologies to document and communicate product status and roadmap:
    1. Write detailed and complex documentation for both internal and external audiences, ensuring clarity and thoroughness.
    2. Present technical material to small and large audiences, effectively communicating complex concepts and product features.
    3. Maintain open and effective communication channels with all stakeholders to foster collaboration and transparency.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Operations Management.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience with defining, building, launching and supporting SaaS cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of public cloud infrastructure including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Understands modeling and optimizing cost for cloud SaaS offerings.
  • Needs to understand the traditional on-premises data center infrastructure and workloads, including virtualization and databases.
  • Is able to apply cloud concepts to modernize workloads and management of workload data.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or a related field, with a strong understanding of hardware and software integration.
  • Proven experience in managing technical partnerships and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of cloud data management solutions and data center infrastructure.
  • Experience presenting technical material to small and large audiences.
  • A desire to continuously learn and have fun.
The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

$170,400$255,600 USD
