Director of EMEA Communications

THE OPPORTUNITY

Rubrik is seeking a Director of EMEA Communications, preferably in London or Amsterdam, reporting to the senior director of global communications. This person will be an extension of the company's international communications and marketing team.

The person will oversee Rubrik's EMEA PR and communications strategy, including managing and guiding regional PR agencies while partnering closely with sales, marketing, and corporate executives. Day-to-day activities include advising technical and corporate executives, working with business and trade media, writing communication material, and monitoring trends while effectively executing and coordinating regional and corporate launches and campaigns. Working with the broader global communications team, this individual will also oversee the development, management, and distribution of the company and product narrative across key stakeholder audiences.

ABOUT YOU

  • Strategic communications leader with 10+ years of in-house PR experience for technology, cybersecurity, and/or Fortune 500 companies. PR agency experience is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the technology and cybersecurity landscape and the media covering it
  • Excellent writer and speaker for a range of audiences from technical and C-suite
  • Experience executing and measuring multi-channel, multi-country communications, and marketing campaigns.
  • A cross-functional leader with a background in navigating various critical stakeholders across sales and marketing teams
  • A natural storyteller who can translate complex technical topics into understandable, concise, and compelling narratives
  • Experience working remotely in managing international PR agencies, operations, and budgets/finances
  • Ability to execute, problem-solve, and stay hyper-organized in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Experience prepping, hosting, and providing strategic counsel for media interviews with key spokespeople
  • Ability to travel regionally and internationally
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, business, or marketing
