Deal Operations Analyst
We are looking for a Deal Operations Specialist to join our expanding Worldwide Deal Desk team. This role will work directly with Deal Desk, Sales, CPQ and Channel teams to ensure that both Field Sales and the Channel Sales organizations are supported throughout the deal life cycle. An ideal candidate will have a love of technology and a desire to work in a role that is continuously evolving as our organization grows.
In this role, you will support our America Sales Team renewal in the creation of non-standard and complex deals and quotes. Expected hours of support is Pacific Time Zone (PST) in the United States with flexibility to work other hours as needed. You will be in the Rubrik Bangalore Office at least 2 days a week and more as needed to bond with teammates. You will provide assistance to stakeholders in the structuring and documentation of complex deals. As a Deal Operations Specialist, you’ll need to be passionate and have the ability to understand complex problems and provide solutions that limit risk while ensuring a competitive advantage to our sales teams.
What you’ll be doing (Both)
- Quickly learn and master the quoting process within SFDC & CPQ system to assist sales reps with quoting inquiries
- Work cross functionally with the CPQ, Pricing and Packaging, and Deal Structuring Team to support the Renewal Sales Team
- Respond to Sales inquiries timely (quote requests, status updates, pricing details)
- Support sales teams throughout complete sales cycle to meet customer needs
- Identify bugs in the quoting process and drive resolution of those items by performing testing to ensure system is working properly
- Collaborate with the CPQ and Business Process teams to drive improvements to Quote to Cash cycle and accelerate deal velocity
Experience you’ll need:
- 2+ years of experience with Sales Ops, Channel Operations, Deal Desk, or Sales
- Experience with a tiered sales channel and go to market strategy
- Familiarity with financial or revenue recognition principles and contracting guidelines
- Experience in a high volume / multi transactional environment
- Experience embracing new technology, applications, and solutions
