We are seeking a data-driven and strategic social media analyst to join our marketing team. You will play a pivotal role in driving our social media success through comprehensive listening, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights. This role will sit in Bangalore, India, and report directly to the Senior Marketing Content & Social Manager.

Responsibilities

Social Media Listening & Monitoring

Develop and implement a robust social media listening strategy using advanced monitoring tools.
Track brand mentions, sentiment analysis, and key industry conversations across relevant platforms.
Identify emerging trends, influencers, and potential opportunities for engagement.
Prepare insightful reports and presentations to inform social media strategy and campaigns.

Competitive Analysis & Reporting

Conduct in-depth competitor social media presence analysis, including content strategy, engagement metrics, and audience demographics.
Benchmark our performance against key competitors and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and present competitive reports to stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and initiatives.
Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive campaign optimization and strategy.
Develop and present clear, concise, visually appealing reports to inform stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities

Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the Marketing team on social media initiatives.
Proactively identify and address potential social media risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in social media reporting and analytics.
Proven experience with social media listening and monitoring tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Meltwater).
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on data storytelling.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with competitive analysis methodologies and best practices.
Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
