We are looking for a Tax Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced, high performing tax department in Palo Alto, CA. This individual will focus on a variety of Income Tax responsibilities and will report directly to the Tax Sr. Manager. The ideal candidate will have public accounting experience with a CPA and have a strong working knowledge of ASC740 & US Income Tax Compliance. Position Location: Hybrid - Palo Alto, CA HQ

What You Will Be Doing

  • Prepare worldwide quarterly & annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740
  • Prepare US federal & state income tax returns
  • Maintain income tax balance sheet & income statement accounts and reconcile balances monthly
  • Assist with external audit requirements for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Partner with cross functional teams including Finance, Accounting, IT, Legal, and Technical Accounting to ensure tax processes are complete, streamlined, and scalable.
  • Provide support for various tax projects, as necessary.

Experience You Will Need

  • BS in Accounting, with CPA certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of public accounting experience in corporate taxation
  • ASC 740 knowledge, with experience preparing and reviewing corporate income tax returns, provisions, and reporting disclosures for forms 10-Q and 10-K.
  • Excellent attention to detail, prioritization skills and analytical/problem solving skills
  • Must be a self-starter, team player and able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and comply with tight deadlines
  • Superior organization and verbal/communication skills

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US Pay Range
$130,000$195,000 USD
