About the Team

The Rubrik Site Reliability team drives our SaaS vision, delivering a reliable Rubrik Security cloud platform. Our mission is to provide top-notch observability, minimize MTTA and MTTR, ensure high availability, and enhance Rubrik's security. We prioritize robust monitoring, automation, and efficient incident response. Our goal is to swiftly address disruptions and minimize customer impact. We focus on delivering a highly available platform with redundancy and disaster recovery strategies. Security is paramount, and we adhere to industry best practices and compliance standards. We proactively manage vulnerabilities and implement strong access controls and encryption.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and run backend systems like Kubernetes, MySQL and everything in between
  • Drive reliability, availability and efficiency improvements to Rubrik's security cloud Platform
  • Good mix of software and system engineering and work cross-functionally with various engineering teams
  • Participate in on-call rotations across continents using a follow-the-sun model
  • Write and review code, plan and execute upgrades, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug production issues
  • Build monitoring tools and automation to increase efficiency of all teams
  • Drive blameless postmortems and operations reviews for core systems and services

Experience You’ll Need

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Golang, Python, Java, Scala, C++
  • Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
  • Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other public cloud technologies
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Development, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
  • Experience working with multiple departments and divisions within an organization requires strong communication skills
  • Willing to provide 24/7 coverage
The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US Pay Range
$142,800$214,200 USD
