Rubrik is seeking an HR Compliance Manager to join our world-class People organization as we continue scaling at a rapid pace. This is a newly created role as part of the People Operations team, with focus on ensuring that Rubrik is in compliance with its internal policies and legal standards. This role will also be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects, at all levels, as well as responsible for providing guidance and solution on all compliance matters.

Core responsibilities:

  • Partners with Rubrik’s legal and other relevant teams to maintain core policies such as Employee Handbook, Code of conduct etc., including annual policy acknowledgement process
  • Educates employees and HR leadership about all regulatory, internal policies and legal requirements that can affect Rubrik. This includes planning and roll out of compliance training, required regular policy acknowledgement, and onboarding documentation
  • Designs and implements HR compliance programs and internal audits to ensure adherence to internal and external policies, legislation and to prevent legal and financial liabilities
  • Serves as main POC to provide input for internal and external audits
  • Audits internal data; develops and implements improvement plans, when opportunities are identified
  • Monitors legislation and internal/external policy changes and ensures proper communication with internal stakeholders to proactively ensure compliance
  • Advising departments on how to improve continuously compliance
  • Reporting to leadership on compliance status, proposed improvements, and impending legislative changes

Required Skillset:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs, or HR
  • At least five years’ experience in the regulatory or compliance field
  • Expert knowledge of legislation and regulations
  • Industry-specific knowledge preferred but not required
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
  • Superb analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborative and supportive mindset

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US (SF Bay Area, DC Metro, NYC) Pay Range
$133,600$200,400 USD

US2 (all other US offices/remote) Pay Range
$120,200$180,400 USD
