About the role
Operational Data is a Software Engineering team whose mission is to facilitate applying data-driven approaches to company operations, manufacturing, and R&D, sitting between data collection and data exploitation, building tools and services to extract value of the data.
A Senior Engineer’s mission is to provide excellent technical skills, experience, and vision to help the team achieve their goals.
Essential skills
- Tertiary Diploma, Certificate or degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or demonstrated equivalent level of knowledge.
- Minimum of 6 years experience within a software engineering related discipline
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Experience with Python Development
- Experience with common data analysis libraries/tools such as Pandas/Numpy, ETL pipelines, SQL
- Software architecture, experience building services and APIs
- Docker experience
- Database knowledge
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Jira, Redmine, Bugzilla, Mantis, or other issue tracker
Desirable skills
- Knowledge of data science and numerical analysis techniques
- Experience with agile development practices
- Kubernetes
- Data visualization
- Web Application Development
- User Interface Development
