About the role

As a Lead Engineer with our Ground Systems Engineering (GSE) team you will be responsible for the design, build, testing and commissioning of our launch and test facilities. As a lead engineer, you will be a subject matter expert, technical decision maker, and team leader. Your team will be first call for Electron operations technical support. Working with the GSE Manager you will prioritize your team’s workload to meet project deliverables and deadlines. You will be responsible for your team’s professional development and performance management. This role is focused on Electron with Neutron support as required.


Essential skills

  • A Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, science or equivalent qualification
  • 6+ years’ industry experience in relevant engineering discipline
  • 1+ years’ experience in engineering management, team management project management or similar
  • Ability to work in fast paced, autonomously driven environment
  • Experience with launch pad systems OR oil and gas, process, mining, or similar industry

Desired Skills

  • Experience applying NASA, ASME, ASTM, IEC, or AS/NZS standards
