FACILITIES TECH I OPS CHEM SUPPORT

Based at SolAero by Rocket Lab in Albuquerque, New Mexico the Chem Support Technician is responsible for production chemical delivery and waste removal, facilities maintenance and ERT team support. You will support the Facilities Manager and operations organization, with deliverables required for internal leadership, board of directors, and investors.

 WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

  • Store, set up and/or deliver production chemicals used in a manufacturing or process area where accuracy of chemical composition is important
  • Assists with removal and disposal of waste chemicals, solids, solvents and acids. Assists in the separation and removal of recycled waste and packaging materials
  • Be responsible for operating safely and efficiently to meet production objectives
  • Participate on the ERT Emergency Response Team
  • Maintain facilities systems while working in the Facilities Dept
  • Work in and around semiconductor clean rooms and other production areas

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Respirator experience – must be clean shaven
  • Forklift experience
  • Osha and/or safety training
  • Previous Clean Room work environment is a plus
