SUMMARY:

The Press Brake Operator II uses brakes, sheer, spot-welder, PEM insert machine, and a roller.


  • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    :Understand jobs, tags, storage, and electronical logging
  • .Read and interpret most blueprints
  • .Understands all pieces of equipment in press area including presses, insertion equipment, finishing equipment, insertion equipment, and spot-welding equipment
  • .Run any programmed job, correctly inspect the first part, and set up the job
  • .Establish inspection and basic tooling from the tooling list
  • .EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE:High School Diploma or GED preferre
  • dVocational or Trade School preferre
  • d3 to 5 years of Brake press experience preferre
  • dForklift certification require

dKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • :Ability to read blueprints
  • .Ability to work with others to complete tasks or work individually
  • .Proficient reading skills for tape measures, caliper, and other measuring tool
  • sPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Lift, carry, push, and or pull 1- 50 lbs. frequently
  • .Regularly sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
  • .Work in a fast-paced industrial environment while wearing hearing protection, vision protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothin
  • gWORK ENVIRONMENTNormal work hours with occasional optional as well as mandatory overtime necessary to meet deadline
  • sNormal office and manufacturing plant environment which may include exposure to dust, industrial solvents, liquids and other materials
